史上最高値の腕時計

腕時計の歴史に、また新たな記録が誕生したようだ！


11月12日にジュネーヴで行われたPHILLIPS（フィリップス）オークションにおいて、下の画像の時計が、過去に販売されたどの腕時計よりも高額な価格を付けた。


それはパテック・フィリップが1943年に製作した、メゾン初の永久カレンダー＋クロノグラフ・ウォッチの1518。
しかもこの個体は、非常に珍しいステンレス・スティール・ケースであり、さらにブレス仕様というもの。

これまでの最高価格は、昨年の「Only Watch2015」に出品された、同じくPatek Philippe社製の5016（永久カレンダー＋ミニッツ・リピーター＋トゥールビヨン）のブルー・ダイヤル＋SSケースに付けられた（一説には落札者はブラッド・ピッドと言われている)CHF7,300,000（当時のレートで約9億円)であった。
