MING - 最新作 エントリーモデル 17.09発表、今回は本数限定ではなく時間限定で注文受付！

MINGの時計は個人的趣味でWMOでもかなりフォローしてきており、そろそろ日本の皆さんの間でも知れ渡ってきたのではないか、と勝手に期待している。

17シリーズは、彼らのデビュー作は17.01であり、2017年に世に出た。その後、GMTバージョンや、ケース、ダイヤルのバリエーションを増やしてきたが、しばらくご無沙汰であった。今般、17シリーズの最後を飾るであろう、17.09の発表となった。

このモデル、そして今回の販売方法のポイントは以下の通り；
- 17シリーズはMINGのエントリーモデルであり、価格はCHF1950（約23万円）。
- 今回の販売方法は、時間を区切っての「時間限定受注」。今までは、時間は区切っていたが、本数限定であり、早い者勝ちの要素が強かった。特に海外からでは、クレジットカードの承認がおりにくかったり、それなりの準備をしていないと「負けて」しまった人も多いのではないだろうか。今回は、時間は区切られるのでその間にすべて終わらせなければならないが、基本的にその時間内に受けた注文はすべて受ける。ただし、どれだけの注文が来るかわからないので、デリバリー時期をはっきりとは言えない。それゆえ、全額最初に支払うのではなく、半額をデポジットとして支払う形となる。

彼らも、ここ数モデル続けて、注文スタートから10分未満で売り切れてしまい、苦情もかなり受けたのであろう。個人的には、時間を指定してくれて、かなり公平なやり方だと思ったが、やはり買えなかった人が多かった、ということであろう。実にリーズナブルである。

MING 17.09： 少しだけ複雑になった



この17.09は17シリーズへのお別れの始まりとなる。さらに進化した日常使いの時計として、新たなデザイン・機能を身に着けた。そして、皆さんの要望に応えて、新しい注文システムを採用し、より多くの人にMINGの時計を経験していただきたい。

バージョン2.0
我々は、エントリーレベルのモデルに、初めてレーザーを使って加工した金属にルミを注入したサファイヤガラスを採用した。インデックスは、風防の裏にレーザーで彫られ、強烈な光を放つ。そのような加工方法は、18.01 H41や、27.01、そして一般には販売しなかったが20.01クロノグラフに使われている。
文字盤はツーピース構造になり、中央部分にはクル・ド・パリ模様が入り、周りはブラッシュ加工された外周に分かれている。微妙な光加減で表情を変える作りになっている。
17.09は、バーガンディーとブルーの2色があり、それぞれマッチしたジャン・ルソー（パリ）のストラップが付属する。ポリッシュ部分と、ブラッシュ部分がある、316Lステンレスのケースは、やや大き目となったが、38㎜の大きさで、多くの人が楽しめる大きさにしている。ラグは、ケースからの連続性を強調した。




外見が変わっただけではない
今回もシュワルツ・エティエンヌとパートナーを組み、セリタ SW330-2をベースに、時針が独立して動く機能を持たせた。MINGの為だけの改造である。
リューズを1つ引くと、秒針を止めずに時針を動かすことが出来る。これは、GMTとしても使えるし、あるいは地域にもよるが、夏時間と標準時間の変更の時にも使える。そして、もう1つ引くと通常の秒針のハッキングと時刻調整が出来る。


誰にでも注文して欲しい
MINGを注文するときの皆さんのフラストレーションはよく理解している。今回はその解決方法を見つけたと思う。すでにMINGをお持ちの方には、2021年7月からデリバリーを開始する（本数制限アリ）。そして、そうでない方からも同様の方法で違う日時に注文を受け（こちらも本数制限アリ）、2021年10月からデリバリーを開始する。最後に、「時間限定」での受付をする。10分間という窓ではあるが、この間に受けた注文には全て答える。ただし、最後の方法でいくつの注文が来るかわからないので、デリバリーがいつということも約束できず、支払いは半額をデポジットとしてお預かりする。
